Vinified in pureness it has a great deep ruby colour, it shows aromatic herbs notes, red fruits and spieces. The sip is of great freshness and structure. It accompanies full-bodied and structured dishes, second course of red meat and game and semi-seasoned cheese. Serve at 16/18 c.

2014

Warm and medium rainy year which allowed a fine vines growth and a correct ripening thanks to the management of the crowns to allow aeration and insolation of the clusters, it produced balanced wines with a good tannic structure and an aromatic profile, intense and pleasant.

2012

Hot and droughty year which stressed the plants and therefore, the management of the crowns were reduced to allow the shading of the clusters, the grapes anticipated the ripening of about 15 days and reached a great concentration in sugar and colour giving high structured wines with deep aromatic profiles and smooth tannins.

FEATURES

The choice not to clarify and filtrate the wine benefit in giving accurate and unique features highlighted by a possible fund. Which garantee complexity and longevity. The colour is defined and the palette highlights the brilliantt ruby as precious and worth as a jewel. The red fruits aroma, just ripened, go well with delicate floral notes of purple anticipating spicy pleasant aromas.

CULINARY ART

The sip involves each sense, the freshness accompanies the delicacy of the tannins flowing into an appealing minerality. The closing is a pleasant almond note which, clearing the palate, demands one more sip, and one again. Veal stew or shoulder of stuffed lamb, so, good structured meat dishes and semi-seasoned cheese.
