Syrah

The alluvial soil in the simeto valley, at the foot of volcano etna, defines our syrah grapes originating san nicola.

With is thick red ruby colour it goes from boysenberry, black current and blueberries to spicy nuances. The sip is full, round with very delicate tannins, of great elegance and finish. It accompanies important red meat, game and seasoned cheese. Serve in a large and potbellied balloon to increase the olfactory complex. Serve at 16/18 c.

Not hot and rainy year which allowed a good hidratation of plants, during the season thinning of sprouts and before the vintage of the clusters has been done to allow a good ripening. It benefit the wine in freshness, tannic charge and elegance with balanced alcoholic nuances and a good inclination to ageing.

FEATURES

The colour is intense ruby, thick. Some delicate garnet shade shows the patient refining in steel vats first and in bottle later. The mouth of the glass breathes Blueberries notes, wild berries, ribes, spicy nuances, cocoa, tobacco into a caleidoscope of colours, going through leather and the underwood, closing with liquorice. The sip is royal, rich, full, round with tannins of a fine grain, which reveal the royal elegance.

CULINARY ART

In its perfection, it goes well with… It goes well with, it is “so much” that it goes well even on its own. Beside this… important red meat, game, pork shank and seasoned cheese. It is served in wide and potbellied balloon to allow the extension of the olfactory complex.
